About

HeyBird

We help you discover the birds around you, so you learn to notice them.

Hi! We’re Vlad and Julia. We both grew up in the city and, for years, thought that parks were home to nothing more than pigeons, sparrows, and ducks. Then one day we stumbled into birdwatching and were amazed to discover a whole world of birds living right beside us — one we had barely noticed before.

From there came books, podcasts, walks with ornithologists, and trips in search of new species.

HeyBird grew out of a desire to share that discovery and help others notice the amazing world of birds around them.
