About the park
Sergiyevka is a protected landscape park on the southern shore of the Gulf of Finland in Peterhof. Created in the first half of the nineteenth century within natural woodland, it retains parts of its original layout and vegetation.

Southern taiga and broadleaved woodland communities occur alongside meadows, lowland wetlands and coastal reedbeds. Saint Petersburg University’s natural science laboratories have been based here since 1920. The park became a natural monument in 1992.
