About the park
At Veretyevo, a small river winds through the trees before joining the Dubna. Willows grow along its banks, with ferns and tall plants nearby. Damp woodland, river bends and tree canopies stand close together. Fallen willows have sent up new shoots, with old trunks continuing to grow amid the dense understorey.

Alexander Brodsky’s park opened on 26 June 2021 within the art estate. Raised wooden boardwalks pass between the trees above the ground and water, connecting small pavilions with themed libraries. Books are part of the park’s design alongside its architecture, bringing woodland walks and reading into the same route.
Fieldfare, Song Thrush and Eurasian Blackbird have been recorded in the park. A nesting colony of Fieldfares was described here in summer 2025. Look for their grey heads and speckled breasts. Watch the lawn from the path to see them making short runs through the grass and searching the soil for food.
