About the park
The pine grove around Partisan Village forms the woodland side of Patriot Park. Trees stand between the museum buildings, and the wooded landscape of western Moscow Oblast continues around the complex. A walk between the exhibitions offers a chance to listen to the woods and notice the everyday lives of birds among the trunks and crowns.

Patriot Park was established in 2014 and opened to visitors in June 2015. It is a museum and exhibition complex focused on military history and technology. The history of its Tank Museum dates back to 1938. Partisan Village opened in 2016, with dugouts recreating the everyday life of wartime partisan groups using photographs, memoirs and documents. The pine grove provides the setting for the historical exhibition. Partisan Village also has a small animal enclosure with captive birds, a separate attraction featuring domestic animals.
Common Chaffinch, European Robin and Great Tit have been heard in the forests of this part of Odintsovo District. The chaffinch has a short, ringing song with a distinct ending; the robin sings delicate, flowing phrases; the great tit repeats clear whistles. Try picking out one voice and waiting for its next phrase to hear the pattern.
