About the park

Podvalskiye Terraces is a protected natural site in Shigonsky District, on the right bank of the Kuybyshev Reservoir. Ravines and landslide steps cut through its chalk slopes, with steppe vegetation on exposed ground. The slopes remain unstable: keep away from cliff edges and cracks and avoid descending the eroding shoreline. Leaving paths can damage the fragile vegetation.
